I had a salesman at Gander Mountain tell me that these frequently come back in for repairs shortly after sales. He said that many of the gunsmiths were asking the corporation to stop carrying them.
That said, I've never fired one myself. They may be great. But I'm just sharing what I was told by someone who sells them for a living.

I had one. After about 200 rounds (Magtech 158 gr. 357 mag SJSPs) the frame cracked under the forcing cone.
After waiting for four months to get it back from EAA, I sold it for a used Smith. Best decision I ever made. You should spend an extra $100 to $150 and get a used Smith or new Taurus.

I have one and way more than 200 rounds through it. Plenty accurate but isn't the most comfortable shooting revolver I have. Mine likes to keyhole .38, so I don't shoot .38 through it
You should be able to get one for up to $200 ![]() |
