I need to reload some .45 ACP, 9mm and .40 SW rounds. I have run out of 230 RN FMJ bullets and I'm down to my last 400 or 500 9mm 115 FMJs. I had quite a supply of both piror to the ammo crunch and huge price increases of a few years ago. Now I need to buy some. What are a few of your favorite places to pick up bullets? Free shipping or flat shipping rates are a plus since I live in Wyoming. Thanks in advance!!!

http://www.berrysmfg.com/ I buy quite a bit from these folks. They do have free shipping on orders more that $50.
Other places: http://www.billybullets.com/Index.aspx http://www.rozedist.com/ Rainier Leadsafe makes some good bullets, but you have to buy them from a distributor like Midsouth or Midway. The minimum order to buy direct is 50,000 bullets.

I just bought 5k Berry's 230 grain .45 ACP for 11.18 cents a piece from powdervalley. Shipping was free. They did charge me $2.50 for insurance. This was the best price I could find. If anyone knows of better pricing, please let me know.
Thanks Bert |

It apperas that you are shooting only jacketed bullets so I won't list all the great places and prices for lead bullets.
With the way things are going you pretty much have to find what's in stock and available. My favorite bullets for price and accuracy are Zreo brand from Rose distribution. They have no 9mm available, a few 40/10mm and zero 45 ACP bullets in stock. Haaaa, I made a funny, zero Zero bullets. ![]() Precition Delta has 115gr FMJ in stock for $74/K. 165gr 40 S&W for $108, 180gr for $114. They list no 45 ACP in stock, but they list for $119/k Montana Gold has lots of bullets in stock, but they do cost a little more, 45 230gr FMJ-$172/k shipped. Or you could move to the "Dark Side" and give the "Black" bullets a try. They are cast lead bullets coated with a Poly-Moly coating that reduces leading and they do not require messy bullet lubes. http://www.precisionbullets.com/index.html Last edited by steve4102; 03-06-2011 at 03:34 AM.. |

I've been buying my 9mm and 45acp from Precision Delta lately. I used to use Montana Gold but have found Precision Delta to be cheaper.

Looks like you missed a couple. Both are our forum sponsors. USAmmo and Palmetto State Armory. Support them if you can since they make this forum possible.
