You can use fingernail polish on the primers

Or markron custom gun products makes a sealer, it too looks strangely like fingernail polish.
My hunting rounds all get sealed, just in case. I hunt, not just fairweather but all weather. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I thought I heard about fingernail polish but thought I'd ask the pros to be sure.

I use red 'cause it's easy to see.
Paint a generous dab on the primer ensuring it fills the gap, then immediately wipe [flat] on paper towel. You can do the same around the case mouth/projectile area, although I don't bother.

I don't water proff mine. But then I'm in a different situation than most. Clear fingernail polish works great for keeping screws from working loose as well. Ozo, I will keep the information you have provided in my head, it's a good idea, and you never know, I might need it someday, Thanks!

P.S. Myles
I only put the polish on the batches I load for SD/HD and such. Just to keep out the oils, etc. from handling them [rounds]. Unload SD rounds, go shoot the guns, load back with SD rounds.... All the rest get shot too quickly to bother with polish on them. Now, if I make some to put in ammo can storage, it's different.
