You're with a good bud. He says, hey, walk up there with me. I gotta show you something tooo cool.

Ya get there, and everybody jumps but you and your good(?) bud. He says, I'll follow you.

Pass, with a capital P.

Oh I think the fall would be ok. It's the stopping that scares me. I'll pass Jack.

Looks like something I'd have liked, years ago. After all, I was willing to leave a perfectly good airplane a few times.

The area reminds me of climbing around in the canyons of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.

awwww seriously ?

theres another over hang outside of Perth that i took a visiting Marine one time and he had a ball , did not even complain about the climb back up ...

not as big a swing as this one but still 120-140 foot maybe of rope swinging

admittedly i'm getting a bit old for this myself , but dont you folks do crazy stuff like this when your young ?

i loved parachuting, still do ( when i can afford too) Surfing big waves , diving, diving off stuff, riding motor cycles ,

heck i'm building a ultralight ( yes i know i crashed the first one .. the wind over turned me AFTER i landed and stopped )

but lifes meant for fun

so what do you folks do that you consider crazy fun if this is too much .. ??

you know i have had a lot of "hey watch this" moments in my life but there's no way in h*ll i jump off that rock. way too many bad things can happen there. and no i wouldn't jump out of a perfectly good airplane either.

It looks like a blast, but it would take forever for me to get back up to the top. I like skydiving, dirt bike and atv riding, riding motorcycles too fast (in my younger days) I still go rock diving when in Hawaii or Nevada.

about 15 years ago I decided I need to settle down. before that I drove cars beyond 150mph, jumped cars like the Dukes of Hazard, rode dirt bikes and ATVs, ice fishing and dropped a car through, etc. etc. it's a wonder I am still alive. now I get to stand back and watch my boys do it all. parental supervision of course

Before I got old and broke down, I would have jumped off that rock with ya Jack. I dont think so now. I would just end up hanging there. That would make too many people happy.

I did a lot of things like that about 40 years ago...rock climbing, rapelling, chasing bears...

I found myself asking a younger associate, what will you tell your kids about when you're my age? He just goes out clubbing and plays football.

Sure, as long as I knew and trusted the rigger.
Bungie jumping ain't any different, although I haven't in a few yrs.
600ft or 200ft to the bottom, no different.....
except you could test your skill at flying the further it is to the bottom !!
We've done worse stunts for westerns with far less equipment.....ever been trampled by a team of six horses at 25mph ?????[buckboard wagon following]
Jumped at night from a C130 and landed in trees ??
Dove off cliffs in Mazatlan, even dove off a lighthouse at Dovercourt in England.
Let's do it Jack. I'm 69, what the hell I gotta lose ?????
Life is for.....living.

OZO that climb up would be a doozy

i got a place off a cliff almost 150 foot jump but a white sand beach to climb out on instead of a rope , , great fishing spot , a mini Fjord .. ,, ( waters a good 30-40 foot deep too )

here's the entrance back a bit it raises up a bit and the water gets a bit deeper
