Question Poll about "CSI: Miami" vs. "Burn Notice"

This is sort of an experiment on my part--because I am curious as to how these two Miami-themed television shows come across. Which of these characters on CSI: Miami and Burn Notice do you find most appealing? Horatio Caine or Michael Westen? Fiona Glenanne or Calleigh Duquesne?

Not exactly earth-shaking questions, I know...

well will... i do watch both shows. my votes were for Micheal Weston (because i think the Horatio Cain character is an idiot...his "whitty comments" are just plain stupid.. and the sunglasses?? why must they be taken off for him to say anything??) for the female.... it was i tie but i voted for calliegh.. because i think shes prettier, and me bein a southern boy i just love those southern belles (she was voted in the 20 sexiest southern women...) now if i were goin for my combat engineer side.... it'd have to be fiona hands down! so if'n it'd be possible.. when you see them, send them BOTH my way one for eack arm "ladies, please... theres enough of me for both of you..."

Have to have a say here. I have tried watching it, best I have managed is half way through. The recent series premier, where H got shot I only got to the first ads, 25% through before the simplistic plot became clear and I became bored. What is it with the writers? They had an opportunity to write a really good episode and threw it away.

Well acted, always a laugh when H takes off the shades and turns side on to talk to someone, terrible writers.

At least there is a lot mor entertaning gun blow ups and just plan funny in Burn Notice, I am no actor but CSI Miami is some of the worst acting I have seen since Hannsel and Grettle in the third grade.

Exactly, I can't stand that show. Burn Notice on the otherhand is a favorite in my home.

It's Burn Notice for me. I got tired of CSI: Miami as the actors seem to be as bored as I am. Maybe some new blood? (No pun intended!) I think after a show has started and run successfully a few years, the writers seem to rest on their laurels a bit and the plots seem to thin out.

I just want to thank all of you for your great answers so far. My wife and I have been laughing over some of those lines (Hansel and Gretel in the third grade?) and have truly enjoyed all of your replies.

I didn't vote because I don't know who any of the named characters are. I start watching CSI, the beginnings really get your attention, then after about five minutes everything levels off, the actors start mumbling their lines and I switch channels. I think I only watched 100% of one episode because there was nothing else on.

Referring to the comment on Benny Hill above, I concur. I think the only good thing to come out of the U.K. since Churchill was Benny Hill. JMHO.

Didn't vote, don't watch either show! What does that say about me? I tried to watch CSI Miami when it first came out, but the charter of Horatio Caine just turned me off. Can't imagine a greater idiot ever as the star of a show (not the man personally, his charter)! Have never watched Burn Notice, and don't intend to.

Burn Notice for me. I have no idea if real spies act like this, but it's entertaining! Some of the gizmos are great and if it really worked it would be fantastic.
