Hi folks. Wanted to see opinions on the A bolt. I have been looking for a rifle in 30-06 for a while. I have a Ruger I love, but I wanted something else ( ya know how it is!). I had decided on either the Remington 700, CZ 550 or the Tikka. Today I came across a used A Bolt in '06 that looks like a new gun. Beautiful wood and even has steel bases and rings. At $400 I couldn't seem to walk away. The only problem is I've never shot an A Bolt and really don't know much about them. Any opinions? It looks good and I've heard they are accurate. Are the triggers easily adjustable? Good action? Just looking for some opinions regarding the rifle in general and if the $400 price sounds about right. Thanks!

$400 for a Browning A-Bolt in good shape is a very good buy. The A-bolts are know for good accuracy and stout action.

Thanks for the opinions. I felt good about it and I guess that's all that really matters. It is nice to hear good things about it. I've since shot it and it shoots great. Thanks!
