I'm just reminding everybody that the UN holds some of our National Treasures.
Yesterday while I was with my parents and during a tour of Helena, we saw a copy of the Liberty Bell and I called it the the Unliberty Bell. Let me tell you what, I got a lot of weird looks from everybody that was around me. I informed everybody that the Bell was given away by Bill Clinton, and then most people looked at me like I was crazy or something. I'm sorry that some people are not on top of old news but that isn't my fault.![]() http://whc.unesco.org/en/statesparties/us Mesa Verde National Park Yellowstone National Park Everglades National Park Grand Canyon National Park Independence Hall Kluane / Wrangell-St Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek # * 28 Redwood National Park Mammoth Cave National Park Olympic National Park Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site La Fortaleza and San Juan National Historic Site in Puerto Rico Great Smoky Mountains National Park Statue of Liberty Yosemite National Park # Chaco Culture Hawaii Volcanoes National Park # Monticello and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville Pueblo de Taos Carlsbad Caverns National Park Waterton Glacier International Peace Park * Here are a couple of pictures from our trip so far. ![]() Sitting Bulls 44-40 ![]() Something I hope we never REALLY see. ![]() ![]() ![]() Well folks I have to go and do something with everybody today, we'll catch ya all later.

I couldn't read the caption above the flag. What is the historical significance behind it?

A guidon was the little swallowtail flag carried by a cavalry unit. The guy carrying the guidon would stay close to the commander, so during battle everyone could tell where the CO was.
