Snow in GA! - The Firearms Forum

There is 3 1/2 inches outside! The last snow storm that was like this was back in what 93?

For those of you that dont know about GA and snow. we dont have the infrastructure to support even flurries! we usually just get flurries and the entire state shuts down i cant imagine how much people are going to freak out about this!

Yep, mom said it was coming down in Madison, GA. I guess people were flocking to the grocery stores.

I'm at Windy Hill in North Atlanta and got about 2 inches here and still coming down! It is a rare for these parts.

You all need to move down here. The temps have plummeted to 66 degrees this afternoon. Brrr. I feel sorry for all of you who have sufferered all of this Global Warming. I havnt seen standing snow since I moved here from New Hampshire in 1968 and dont ever want to see it again. Bleah!

My wife and I are actually watching coyotes playing in the snow right of our balcony....it is next to the Chatahochee National forest, but still in the city limits of Atlanta....very cool.

we got snow here too.

i HATE snow & i HATE winter!

*sigh*

i just hope & pray we dont lose power, we got baby chicks today & i do NOT want to run the generators.

nice pics! Yep, that's alot of snow for GA! your only 20-30 miles from me but I only have half that amount.

Bremen, GA looks like that. About an hour West of ATL, near the AL border. The terriers love it, but the humans don't. My wife is going to the TN womens' basketball tournament tomorrow, and hates driving in the snow.
I'll be staying home, eating hot dogs, drinking beer, and keeping the dogs company. And the new 47" television.

All 49 states in continental have some snow cover today. Hawaii is the only state that doesn't have any.

People here dont know how to drive in snow. Including myself!

I have yet to see a salt truck so im staying in!

Didn't know you where from GA! 3 weeks ago, I drove right through your part of the woods and went another 20 miles north right over the TN line and did some back packing in the Cherokee National Forest....the weekend it rained so much!

The snow is really pretty over here in Madison County, it is all over the tree limbs. I am afraid that the snow is going to get too heavy and start downing trees into the power lines. Last year in March we got a couple of inches and the power was out here in Colbert for 2 days.
