Default Prayer Request

Would like to request prayers for my wife. We are leaving in a few minutes for her to have knee replacement. Never hurts to have extra prayers for things like this.
I will be away from the forum for a few days to take care and be with her.
Thanks for your thoughts.

3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning with a special request.
Carl's wife is going in to surgery this morning, Lord, and we are asking that you keep your hand on her.
We ask that you would be with every medical person working on her, and cause them to do everything exactly correctly.
We ask that her recovery be rapid, and with a minimum of pain.
We ask that there would be no setbacks or complications.
We ask that her mobility would be fully restored, so she can go back to normal activity.
We ask that you would be with Carl as well, assuring him that everything is in your hands.

And we give you the thanks for all of this, because we know that all healing and all strength comes from you - -

And we ask all of these things in the mane of Jesus the Christ, the Great Physician - -

Amen - -

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. A husband who cares enough to ask for a prayer is already a great blessing.

Somehow I missed this all day, Carl. Surely the procedure is now done, so I'll pray for her recovery and your taking care of her.

A quick note to sincerely thank each and everyone for their prayers. Prayers always help, and to know that I had so many of you thinking about the wife and I is really appreciated, Thanks again.

I got her home late yesterday and she is doing fine. Of course she has a long way to go but time will fix all that. Home health will be out today then the PT will start Monday I think. Every little bit helps. She is not in any pain, so thanks to the pain killers this is a good thing. This is her second replacement so she knew what to expect. The Dr. told her that this knee was a lot worse than the other one. She had it replaced almost 2 years ago. It is just amazing the technology they have now days. Back when I was young, people just had to suffer with bad joints. Don't see how they stood it.

Thanks again for your prayers.
