His step father Lolo Soetoro was born in 1935, he would have been 6 at the start of WWII. What A LIAR! His only father figure in his life was his Grandfather. The guy that donated his semen for his birth was never around.  To Obie, his 'father' was actually his Grandfather.

They did have a North African conflict during WW2 I think........maybe his grand pappy was in that part of the war.
