For storing a revolver ,what is better a gun case. The one with the foam lining or one with wool. Ken

it's a toss up but buy some dessicant and keep the moisture away.

Whether foam or wool, I always spray the interior lightly with silicone lube. I've not found any difference between the two for protecting the guns.

I found that wool won't leave marks were in is in contact with it. I have a foam case for my shotguns and a wool case. the foam case always leaves the marks on the barrel of my ruger were it leached the oil off the finish. The wool never does that.
