I want to look up a patent drawing for an old rifle. How do I find it? I understand that the google patent page will probably give me what I want but unless I know who the patent was issued to or a number, how can I do a search for it?
Gun in question is Stevens 44 1/2. Heres the google patent page. http://www.google.com/patents

I think thats the No.26 Crackshot according to a diagram I have. The Crackshot came out in 1913 to if I'm reading it correctly.
The 44 1/2 came out earlier than that, 1904 or 05 I think. Last edited by mranum; 02-20-2012 at 11:24 PM.. |

The 44 1/2 had an angled firing pin and it had a flat main spring I remember right.
Thanks for looking. I'll find it eventually. |
