Terrific shots. Can't complain about that camera.

Nicely composed, too.

Nice shots BigT. I never took you for a "remi" shooter. For some reason I thought you had better taste. I should have known better since you have a USA Strat. Just kidding. Love your 22/250.

BigT, Great pics! And whenever I get back down to CHarleston to visit inlaws, we'll "pick" a little as well as shoot hoefully! It took you a whole year to get the wife that camera she was talking about when I was there last Christmas!! And then she had to go buy it herself???? GHD

Oh-No BigT! Didn't anyone tell you? If you post a pic of a guitar or a gun before your 10th post, that you have to give them away in your 10th post giveaway!

Nice, sharp pics with great detail but I think I will give credit to the photographer as well as the camera. Thanks for sharing

So - I see your Stratocaster there (nice pic). Can you give me a ball park figure on what a good Fender Strat goes for. (Reasoning) - one of the local shops has a nice condition Fender Strat on the shelf that is signed by Jimmy Vaughn - $575.00 (of course - how do you confirm the signature - and is it worth more).

DITTO!

Reminds me of the photographer that was invited to show his portfolio at a dinner.
<hostess> "Very nice pictures. You must have a very nice camera".

After dinner, and upon leaving...

<photog> "Very nice dinner. You must have some very nice cookware".

BlueTic, drop an email to fenderbender58. He is up on Strats and others and can give you good info, I think. He has moved, so use bachelornmbrone@yahoo.com (just in case he hasn't updated here.)

Nice selection of interior sleeping bag colors

Just joshin' Seriously nice work there, that digital has some nice clarity. I vote for the 7mm pic, tying with the Strat....

Given the price of the piece in question,my guess is that it's a Jimmy Vaughn signature model:a genuine article -factory model offering that can be found at most any large guitar retailer for about $20 to $30 less,so as a price from a mom and pop retailer, that's not too bad........they come from the factory in Ensenada, Mexico in candy apple red, arctic white, black and brown sunburst, and are very fine guitars by any measure...... all parts are built to pre-CBS american specs...(not like thier Korean or Japanese counterparts) which means any and all american aftermarket components will fit (hotter pickups and such ).
Stratocasters have more aftermarket suppliers available to them than any other electric on the market........brings to mind some other great (and successful) american designs, like the 5.0 Ford, the small block Chevrolet, and of course the 1911
As to the signature, you'll find it on the back of the headstock....this guitar is a signature model, not to be confused with a guitar actually signed by Mr.
Vaughn.....given a choice between the two,I would rather have the signature model...they play rather nicely.......better than the Eric Clapton model.....

well the American strats are going to be a bit more than the mexi strats. Check out www.musiciansfriend.com for prices on new strats, not sure about the signature. If thats a real signature, on an american strat, sounds like a good enough deal.
