Even though the Tea Party has pushed the Republicans back to the right, it won't last and if the Tea Party stays with the Republicans they will move back to the left with the Republicans.

Since I can think for myself, I think the writer of that article leans too far to the left for me and doesn't think much of religion in general and Jesus in particular.

Thats a very odd plot. The hamburger giants are now directing the American voters?? How do they do it by putting things in the food to make you vote for one of the two only parties??? Why is Mischell Obama attacking the hamburger giants?? Some one needs to tip her off about the "Burger Plot'. Its Big Burgers and I thought it was Big Tobacco and Big Oil. What else can the Left Wingers attack?? I know what about the Big Peanut plot. I see where peanut butter is being band in many schools. Damn its about time we must stop Big Peanut producers before its too late.

Mitch Daniels has come to the governor term limit in Indiana, and Mike Pence--currently my congressional representative--is going to be our next governor (and the election will be about a 10 percentage-point margin).

Our best option to replace Pence is a young man named Travis Hankins, though I think he's a bit of a long shot. He has pledged to spend his first six months in office attempting to reform the U.N. into a forum rather than a would-be government; if the U.N. is still attempting to govern, then he promises that he "will spend [his] energy getting the U.S. out of the U.N."
This is actually a softening of his position; he had been calling for an outright withdrawal immediately, but I think he now understands that this position is not particularly popular among the uninformed.

Once again, the uneducated really need to read up on what Ron Paul actually says and does...not what the media tells you. Dr. Paul has advocated for the US to get out of the UN for 20 years. He has even introduced legislation regarding it.

(CNN)–Saying "I'm a believer in trade," Rep. Ron Paul says the World Trade Organization, is threatening the sovereignty of the United States.

"The WTO has now been able to come to our Congress and dictate to us, we as a Congress, and as a party has endorsed the idea that we should raise taxes on certain corporations at the directive of the W.T.O in order to satisfy and be upstanding members of the W.T.O.," The GOP presidential hopeful said Saturday. "We should never raise taxes period, but certainly because the W.T.O. tells us to do so."

Paul said the W.T.O., and other organizations that support free trade are an outgrowth of the United Nations. As a result, "I support this notion of protecting sovereignty by getting out of the United Nations," he said. The Texas Congressman said he has sponsored legislation calling for the U.S. to withdraw from the United Nations since he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Paul made his comments before a weekend retreat for Michigan Republicans on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Most of his fellow rivals for the GOP nomination were also scheduled to address the group as well.

Could it be possible that all this talk about the big bad U.N. etc, etc, is in fact a distraction? The big power brokers don't want you to see that the folks who pay the most for U.S. elections (Big Energy, Wall Street, International Corporations) are the folks who own our government.
