Rumor has it that Colt is about to sell out. I just had an interesting thought: What if Colt sold out to Glock? I can just see the newspaper headline now: "Glock announces production of a new polymer 1911 Colt. Inplanotx, JohnK3, 45mashemflat, and Polishshooter from TFF decide, in a fit of grief and outrage, to retire from the shooting sports permanently and become professional alcoholics."

But notice, none of the .45 fanatics have yet even commented. I must conclude that the concept of Colt owned by Glock still has them so tongue-tied they're unable to do anything but sputter.

maybe if they buy COLT they could turn things around and begin to produce some quality built steel pistols...

and shrug off there poor reputation...

hmmm. an ar15 that fed and fired everytime.... i suppose it could be done. it's already black so that's a start.

Colt - olt = C
Glock - Gl = ock
