Was talking to a local deputy last night and he told me about this new pistol from Sig.
Has anyone seen it yet?

I was big brother to a new shooter, at a match a few months ago.
We go him hooked. Anyway, he went out and bought one of the SIG 1911s, don’t know which model, I will find out at the next match. He has had a lot of feed problems with it. He is still getting new mags, and trying to figure out what the problem is, the gun or the mags or what. He is NOT a happy camper right now, considering what he paid for the SIG.

Tell him to contact sigarms and bitch them out. They do stand behind their products.

I picked up one at the Houston Gun Show. I have owned a couple of Sig's and they are well made. I am sure the new 1911 will follow the quality of the bloodline.

My first time here… nice forum!
I have a Sig GSR Revolution… stainless with rail. What can I say about this gun? Well, it has gone 2000+ rounds w/o a malfunction of any kind! It is extremely accurate and it has become my every day and duty carry piece. I would buy another Sig GSR if I were in the market. Justin ![]() |

A followup....
berto, followed your advice. Had him get in touch with them, he sent it in, and they worked on it. Has shot it quite a bit since he got it back, and NO problems so far. He is not "so" unhappy now. Time will tell.

Just another imitation Colt. Don't get me wrong, SIG is a very good company but no one will make a better 1911 than Colt.

Welcome to TFF.
Colt has been producing 1911's for a long time but, in my personal experience, there are several better made 1911's than Colt. |
