I e-mailed on a used one - seller tells me it groups 3" - 4" at 100 yards. Does not sound very acccurate. What do ya'll thinnk? He must be using a solid mount and benchrest. LTS "I know where the patina finish came from, taste it, I think not!!!!!" But thanks for asking..... kdubaz Moderator Posts: 276 (7/15/01 11:15:43 pm) Reply | Edit | Del Re: Ruger mini 14 .223 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Agreed. At least that has been my experience. timberbeast V.I.P. I can do 2" out to 200 yds with mine offhand, and I'm not a real good shot. My buddies, I was lucky to do 6" at 100 yds offhand. Both scoped, mine a semi-crappy Tasco, his a Leopold. I have the crummy aftermarket side mount on mine, his was a ranch with built-in scope mounts.

The mini 14 is not accurate is a myth i heard for ten years until i purchased one and shot it.It shot 1-2 inch groups at hundred yards and im not a rifle shooter, but that's better than most can do with 24 inch ar15.My wife laid claim to it by the way and im back to my ar.
