Smile Unarmed? A wedgie works!

Woman uses wedgie to capture suspected thief

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- It took a wedgie and a headlock to pin down a man suspected of breaking into a car. Yvonne Morris, a technician at the Brickyard Animal Hospital, said she chased a man who broke into a co-worker's car, but he kept squirming away from her.
The third time, Morris grabbed hold of the man's boxer shorts and pulled. Salt Lake City police said she then she put a headlock on the man until help could arrive.
The man was booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants.

Way to go Utah, eh?

The woman mentioned on the news that her husband is in the U.S. Navy Special Forces (SEALs I guess?) and had taught her a few things about self defense... Didn't know they taught that in the Navy.

Like the saying goes "grab em by the **ll's and their hearts and minds will follow".

Thanks for the laugh Lori.

Lovely story. We had another here a few months ago. A bag snatcher chose the wrong, or right old lady, though in her 68 she was an ex runner and out ran the two young thieves, catching up and getting her bag back, though they escaped.

A story perhaps best kept to themselves.

Ain't life grand.
A tip of the hat to her.
