My dad's Winchester 04a bolt action single shot, which is presently roosting in one of our gun cabinets. He received it from his dad, my grandfather.

A Glenfield 60. Purchased it from K-Mart in Portland Oregon in 1975. They had a grand opening sale and it only cost $23.95. I gave it to a nephew several years ago.

Smith and Wesson 22/32 Kit Gun; Model 43 I believe. J-Frame 4" barrel.

Didn't like the small grip and traded it for a Ruger Singer Six after a few years!

Financially that turned out to be the WRONG thing to do!!

My 1st .22 was a Winchester Model 190. But it actually belonged to my father who bought it for my brother and I to shoot. The 1st (working) .22 I bought and owned myself after I turned 21 and was legally able to do so, was a Marlin Model 10 single shot rifle. Great gun.
As a teen I purchased several non working guns at various places. Garage sale/flea markets etc. Some of them were .22's.
