Heavenly Father, we come before you uplifting this man.
The Doctors are investigating this cancer to find out what kind it is and how to treat it.
But Lord, You are the creator; You already know exactly what kind it is.
And You are the Great Physician; You already know exactly how to treat it.
So, as the doctors work on this, we come to You, Lord, and ask for you to intervene.
We have seen you heal cancer through the tools of radiation, chemo-therapy, and surgery.
We have also seen you heal cancer overnight, with no medical treatment of any kind.

Lord, we are not praying about what tools you use; we are asking for a healing by whatever method you deem best.
We ask that this healing would be swift, complete, and without complications.

We also ask that you would be with each member of this family and each friend of this man. We ask that you would give assurance to them, and strength as they deal with this.

We thank you, Lord, for your love toward all of us -

And we ask these things in the Holy name of Jesus, the Christ - the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Amen

Amen to what Terry prayed. Praying from over here.

Thankful to God that it was caught while it is still dime-size.

We'll be watching for updates.

Sorry to hear that. Will continue praying that you know God's comfort and presence and peace and love in this time. Psalm 23 talks about going through the valley. It's not a place we get stuck in. There is a beginning and an end to it and we all go in and we all come out the other side. The Psalm also describes how He is our Shepherd and leads us, going through that valley with us, leading the way.

Thank you, Bradley, for that update - glad he is doing better!

This situation, and BlackEagles response to it, brings to mind a sermon I have cooking in the back of my mind. It involves that very common Bible expression "It came to pass". The way I want to approach it is this:
Trials like this one come in this life.
But they never stay forever; they pass.
And that is part of the plan:
They come - to pass.

And this one will, positively.

Well...grandpa passed away. The hospice doc told us it was lack of food. It's kinda hard do do anything to help when one doesn't live in the same dwelling and my mother in law is " taking care of him". Last week when we swung by to visit she was going through his stuff......... Sad to see a family do that.

Thanks to all that prayed. He passed in his sleep and I know that heis no longer suffering.

God bless u all
Sencerly
