Is there any significant difference in bullet velocities of a 230 grn 44 mag when fired from a 4" or 6" barrel? Target would be around 50 yds.
What is the velocities of a 50 cal Beowulf round? How does it compare to the 44 mag? Thanks

velocity difference would be around 100 fps. with the longer barrel being faster. The .50 beowulf is a faster cartridge than the .44 mag, but performance is similar. Your targets prolly wont notice a difference
