Welcome to the forum Turbodave, I'm an 'FNG' too.........Fairly New Guy. Feel free to jump in............the water is "nice".
Here's a link to the Savage 99 serial numbers from the end of 1899 thru 1950. http://www.perfectunion.com/vb/showthread.php?p=393210 Reference a stoney point modifed case in .300 savage. Hornady now manufactures all Stoney Point products. Modified cases for the .300 savage are scarce but if you contact Hornady they will have you to send in a piece of .300 sav brass and they will thread it for for a nominal charge and return it to you. Contact Hornady at: http://www.hornady.com/contact_us |
