My daughter is putting the finishing touches on our faux tree as I type.

Got some snow earlier this evening.

Well...we got our first Christmas card today......

Since I just painted the house I hate to put in new staples, etc, in my new paint job. That was my excuse for (lack of) Halloween decorations, too!

Well, Rosie, to get in the spirit, you could always make up some nice holiday decorations out of chicken feathers.

We'll probably put up our tree and decorate the front door this weekend.

Rosie it is OK to skip Christmas this year Just tear Dec. off the calender on Friday and skip the entire month
Tell everyone around you that Dec. was canceled due to lack of energy this year.
But you and I both know that you are a tuff lady and will do Christmas any way

I like the slim jim trees. ... I'd rather see the cows on a bun with mayo, pickles, and onion.
