I have the same taste as kutaho. Good stuff. I drank enough of that instant junk in the military.

BREW - nothing tastes so good. But only in the morning - it will keep me up all night is thereafter.

Jamaican Blue Mountain is great.

Cant drink coffee at all...gotta have my caffeine cold! I do like the smell, though. When I lived in Parkville my route into KC brought me down Broadway past the Folgers plant, & I loved that smell!

Brewed if I have the choice, recently I have fallen in love with folgers hazelnut.Cant drink enough of it! When I was young my parents drank a lot of Sanka (do they still make it?) Never knew why. I guess instant has its uses but to me nothing beats brewed.

Brewed only, and never that French roast crud!!! Instant coffee isn't fit for human consumption, by the way. I think it's actually made from freeze dried weeds. We only buy Yuban, preferably when it is on sale.

Brewed, and it's gotta be regular Folgers! Actually, these days I mostly drink hot tea - Lipton, 2bags per cup.

Any of the quality ground unflavored types but:
French pressed it must be, boiling water and sit for 3-4 min. but just one cup or I get so wired it isn't funny.

I have experimented with instant, for use on the river and always wound up brewing coffee even there. Even though it takes more time and more stuff, it is very well worth it. At the house, I brew. There is an outfit in Jax, Condaxis Coffee that imports, roasts and grinds, I'll stop in there four or five times a year for some Snickers Doodle or Hawaiian Kona but mostly we drink Wal Mart 100% Arabica. We did a taste test some years ago, we got some of each, Flogers, Maxwell House, etcetera, etcetera. We got some Wal Mart 100% Arabica. The taste test stopped with the Wal Mart. It is the best cheap coffee available by far. It rivals some of the exotics I get from Condaxis.

There is a Maxwell House plant in Jax and yes, it does smell good. DuPuy just built the world's largest coffee silo facility in Jax, it seems people want their brew.

95% of the time its only drank at work, brewed Folgers, we've got 6 guys that consume it by the pot-full and we can all agree on Folgers, not great, but not bad either. If I'm drinking it at home, i prefer a locally roasted and ground bean. Persnickety Tim's Espresso Roast. http://www.timscoffee.com/

For about the past year now, we drink brewed Maxwell House / for years we made brewed Hazlenut flavored coffee. Now you have to just about take out a loan to buy a pound of it!
