Default .44 Mag - .429 or .430?

I am just getting started with handloading .44 Magnum.

I noticed in looking at bullets that some jacketed rounds (for example, Magtech) are .429, but Winchester 240 grain JHPs are .430.

Are there any concerns with using either diameter in a .44 Magnum load?

If it makes any difference, it's for a Ruger Super Redhawk.

i shoot mostly .429 in my smiths, but it should not make much of a difference unless your barrel is oversized. old semperfi

It shouldnt make a difference at all unless you go switching a .430 in a near max load for a .429. could cause a dangerous pressure spike.

Don't worry about it! Load em up and have fun! I reload wad cutters, several different kinds, as well as jacketed bullets. One thing you can be sure of is that if you buy a box of 500 bullets, no matter who makes them, they will differ in weight, as well as in diameter.

5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.

21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
