Default colt pony

Cop369...order a complete spring set from www.gunsprings.com for your pony, x-power recoil and firing pin spring and reduced power hammer spring.

You will not believe the difference in trigger pull/shootability. Feals like you've had a complete action job...

Hi CC......and welcome to TFF.

Thanks for the info.

Yup, Wolff makes high quality springs. Many of us who shoot M1911's in competition swear by them.

bompa...My local gunsmith put the hammer spring in, it took him less than 10 mins to do.

It looked real easy, but after he took off the grip panels he lost me it came apart so fast.

The difference really is incredable, I highly reccomend the spring change to any one that has a colt pony.

Is there a shop or a gun smith near by you??
