The north tower of the World Trade Center housed CNN's main office on the top floor. No one could have survived on that floor, yet no CNN employees have been among the dead that are listed.

This guy is obviously crazy. The U.S. never needed a warrant to go hunt terrorists. We could have done it even if 9/11 had never happened. I mean, they're terrorists. They have always been a threat to freedom and democracy.

But, on the other hand, it's not that much crazier than some of what I've read on this forum. I remember one post where someone actually proposed that the government had something to do with all the school shootings because of the assault rifle revote. I'll agree that the news media may blow the shootings out of proportion, but there is no conspiracy. Wake up. Get off the farm once in awhile. Go out and interact with people.

P.S.: If it comes out 20 years from now that there was an actual government conspiracy against assault rifles and any of you guys are left to rub it in my face, then I'll be eating my words.

I don't think the government is actively involved in school shootings and such. But I do believe that there are people out there who belong to anti-gun groups who are willing to perpetrate such acts to further their cause.

I ordered the FEMA report on the collapse of the towers on 9/11. I happen to agree with the report.

Keep in mind that I am a structural engineer.

The fact that it was constructed of steel plays a large role in understanding how the intense heat of thousands of pounds of jet fuel could easily weaken and destroy the steel beams. Once a floor collapses, you have a "pancake" effect where the whole building will go down exactly like we saw.

So whatever you want to believe is your business, but I strongly disagree with the notion that the towers couldn't have collapsed due to heat.

As a physicist I have to agree with you 1952Sniper. Heat stress on steel structures are well defined. Same with burn color of fuels and chemicals. If there were bombs, the secondary explosions would have been visible and the nature of the inferno would have changed if there were secondary or tertiary accelerators (explosives) to the blaze of the jet fuel.

The idea that Isreal played any role in 9/11 would not only be a politically and ideologically stupid move, but there's no credible motivation for them to do it. Why attack the only country thats backing their security?

is absolutely absurd. There was video shot from a security booth at the parking lot that captured an image of the plane about 25m from the pentagon right before impact. Not to mention the eye witnesses.

Well, actually, I can see why 9/11 would have been a smart move on the Israelis' part, if they could get away with it. The US has always supported Israel, but always from a distance. By punching America in the nose and claiming that Islamic terrorists did it, they could get the knee-jerk reaction against fundamental Islamics from America. This, in turn, would help their fight against the Islamic terrorists in Palestine.

I'm not saying I believe that theory. But it is plausible. So far, though, it hasn't worked out that way. While we are busy hunting down all these evil boogey-men around the world, we haven't really done anything differently in the Israel-Palestine conflict.

I would be more apt to believe that 9/11 was perpetrated by members of our own government, in order to make a bold grab for power. That's exactly what they have been doing since 9/11, and they have been constantly feeding the fear.

I've been sitting here at my computer trying to compose my thoughts before posting. Came up with several things that I would really like to say, but am going to hold back because I don't want to get myself banned from TFF.

Do some of you people actually, truly believe the things that you are posting here?!?!? Good God Almighty.

Next thing you know, you'll be coming on here saying that all the police and firefighters who supposedly died that day in the Twin Towers really didn't. They were led away to safety by Elvis (who faked his own death, don't ya know, so who better to show how it's done?) via the ultra-secret tunnel system in place under the towers. (The entrances to the tunnels were marked with the emblems of fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches to show the way.) They were then taken aboard the UFOs that the evil U.S. Government has had stashed away in Area 51 and spirited away to safety to live under assumed identities in the Witness Protection program.

I think that I am about done coming to this particular part of TFF, gets my blood pressure too high. You all have fun posting your conspiracy theories, no matter how wacky or out of touch with reality they are. I'm heading to K-Mart right now, they're having a good sale on high strength tin foil; ya'll might want to think about picking some up for yerselves.
