Just about anything but pop or rap. Country's got some good ones. I like more or less, heavy stuff. Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer. Listen to alot of classic rock - Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton. I'm a big Van Halen fan (like the DLR stuff better). Just about anything's good if it is about more than just randomness.
90's alternative is good music. Really like Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, STP. I actually have a CD with all 90's alternative music on it.

Country makes me want to put a bullet in my head. Can't stand it. Classic rock 70's and 80's stuff is what I like. Some new stuff is OK. Pink Floyd is my all time favorite.

They had the giant pig balloon that came floating across the stadium and then just exploded. Like it was some special effect, idk if it was a real balloon. He's seen it all. Only REAL concerts I've been too were Matchbox 20. That was okay. Went and saw Aerosmith at the Kohl Center a couple years ago. Great concert. I wanted to go to Metallica before Jason Newsted left the band. I'd like to see Clapton before he gets too old to do concerts anymore.

I like a lot of music, but the ones I enjoy are, Rock (not light Rock), Metal, Industrial, Alternative, Jpop (go ahead, say something but don't blame me for your flat tires), Classical and some Grunge.
Sorry, while I do listen to country every now and then, it's not really my "Cup of Tea." |

Jack, went to school with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Love the Blues, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Real Country, Bluegrass, and amattering of everything else. If you can whistle to it, it's music. But no rap, you can't say crap, without rap.

Red cool!!
i do like his work eh a lot of that era where a lot more aware than the song writers of today , maybe its just safer to not wrote political songs.. I knew Bon Scott back when they moved from Melbourne to the dump next to my dump and we'd shoot Minor birds on weekends when they where "crashing" I got married , AC/DC got BIG and he died, sad but good days eh cheers |

Saw AC/DC with and without him. They are still good, but I liked them before, more. You just have to respect Angus.
BTW my grandson Ryan likes AC/DC the best now. He'll be 9 in May.

AC\DC was a pub band for 6-7 years before getting big
they played rooms of maybe 200 folks hell of a following and the biggest record selling band for a long time but we dont have ( had then we got it now) the hype associated with rock and roll as the US Beatles yeah they where mobbed but Bonn was a memeber of the melbourne indoor range and when they moved to Sydney, ANZAC Rifle Range and sporting club association, he was a popular guy and knew lots of folks remember when he died he was not with a A list crowd, he was with folks he met in a bar , and a homeless guy he'd bumped into , that was Bonn. Stray cats ( the band )was a tribute to Bonn Scotts attitude, not music when the guy was just a british backpacker here in Oz Bonn picked him up took him home and got him drunk cause he thought the guy needed a roof a drink and a feed when he went back to pommy land he started his own band called stray cats.. just cause someone ends up famous dont mean they didnt start in the burbs or whatever Bonn had a great S&W revolver back when i forget the model 4" barrel big cal i remember blew kiln bricks to bits and they are tough eh Think of him as a gun nut and you'll realise he's just a bloke , a good one RIP Bonn i'll find a pic i have of us all one weekend AND THIS ONE I'LL HAVE TO EDIT, he smoked some weird stuff then.. that was Bonn too, too much of everything was never enough, |

I'm a lot like Carney Frio, my tastes in music are very eclectic. I like pop, popular, Europop, technopop, rock n roll, disco, doo wop, jazz, swing, Big Band, easy listening, Latin, Hawaiian, African, Oriental, gospel, classic, and cowboy music. I'm not a big fan of country but I like many of the cross-overs like Brenda Lee, Anita Kerr, Lynn Anderson, Eddy Arnold, and Gentleman Jim Reeves. Some other favourites of mine are France Gall (my favourite singer), Elvis, Modern Talking, Abba, the Fabulous 4 Seasons, the Beach Boys, the Tijuana Brass, Brasil 66, Bert Kaempfert, James Last, Lawrence Welk, Ray Conniff, Vikki Leandros, Edie Gourmet, Mary Hopkin, Stephanie Germinotta (Lady Gaga), etc, etc.
