Default .45 auto+p

I was just given a box of 20 rounds, COR BON 45 auto+p 165gr JHP. Valosity 1250 fps Energy 573 ft/lbs. has anybody used this stuff? I have an RIA 1911 mil spec. with about 50 rounds through it. Should i worry about putting this ammo through it? I eye balled the 230 ball ammo cartridge and the cor bon cartridge, they seem to be the same dia. and length.

your Rock will handle it, it's a defense load and will be a little hotter. Does he have any more to give away??? CorBon is going for about $29 a box down here, be sure to tell him thank-you and beg for more !!
