Fire is now 70% contained and efforts are winding down. All fires within the City of Colorado Springs are out, most residents have returned to their homes. Some were trashed by looters.

346 families came home to piles of ashes.

One ash pile had two bodies - an elderly couple, slow to leave.

Almost 350 houses are TOTALLY gone. They have not released the number of houses that were just "damaged" by the fire. Some/most of those are not livable without MAJOR repair.
