i work first shift for a medium size structural steel fabrication company and they have just laid off the entire second shift! (6 guys) in the 60 years this company has been around they have never once laid off anyone. we are still getting work but it is coming far to slowly to keep them around. i feel so bad for them and their families and i hope things get better quick! buy some steel!

Really, I've been laid off for two months now. I see some local construction goin on but its all hispanic labor. That right there is begining to get under my skin and make my blood boil.

Big Ugly, get one of those ICE caps and go walk around the construction sites with a camera.The contractors will soon be crying for help.
