Jeez, your screenshots look so much better than mine, I'm actually jealous. And that's a rarity for me!
Are you using FSX already? I'm still on FS9, even with the new computer. I did download a new helicopter last week, so I'm tempted to post a screenshot too. Even if mine don't get mistaken for photographs...

My new Westland Wessex, doing a bit of search-and-rescue in Tokyo Bay (that's the Rainbow Bridge in the background). No, it's not as pretty as a P-51, but it sure flies nice!

It is FSX
I think that I'm going to go to Paris and see if I can get some screenshots of the lunar eclipse yesterday.

During a recent brief email exchange with a local technology reporter, I learned that he had been told by one of the X developers at Microsoft the simulator was purposely designed with far more capability than current PCs can exploit.
The writer had taken X for a test flight on a custom $30,000 (my memory may be wrong about that sum) gaming machine that still could not extract all the graphic complexity built into the software. The designer's comments were in response to the writer's criticisms, so may be somewhat biased. Marlin T, I'm curious to see the eclipse from Paris on your simualtor (watch out for the Eiffle Tower! (? sp) ). I recall a full lunar eclipse viewed from the Pacific Northwest circa 1955 - 1960 (?) as a youngster, and it was awesome. The color, sort of a burnt sienna, still illuminates that memory. These are screen captures from his flight simulator software. Pretty cool, huh?

Those "Heritage" photos are great. Looks like a Warthog after an Eagle with an eye on Mustang pacing a Raptor. You gotta love that stuff!

Here's another close-up of the "Glacier Girl" taken over Nellis AFB in an air show a couple years ago.

Outstanding Marlin.
That is a super nice shot. I have a Glacier Girl for the flight sim, but there is one problem. It was made for the older version flight sim, hence some of the textures are displayed as black.
