And a mighty fine firearm it is! I have always been a big fan of the Kel Tec, haven't I pa?

She wants to know how many hi cap mags she needs..

She'll need about three, Charlie. Sorry Carol I'm not poking fun. The first mag full will end up at the perps feet. (the double action tends to hit LOW until you have a LOT of practice)The second you'll get the hang of it abit but you know nerves. They will all go in every direction except dead mass. By the time you get to the third mag, the perp will be 2 blocks away and you'll have to aim at about 45 degrees angle just to get them in his general area but I have a lot of confidence in Carol and I lnow one of those rounds from the third mag full will hit the perp in the heel and he'll fall and knock himself out so the PD can arrest him.
All kiding aside, enjoy your new black gun, Carol.

Maybe you're teaching her and she can't shoot yet either !

Hmmmmmmmmmm ?

She should like it . Me , I've wanted a P-11 for some time now .

Should have gotten her a sub 9 or sub 2000 so she could be a NJ gangsta ..

Charlie , I was surprised to hear that our local police department (which has been using 4506's) is staying with the 4506 and not going to a sig . I had heard S&W would be dropping the line and it's been a special order for some time now . At least our swat guys use H&K USP Tacticals . Guess they felt it cheaper to stay with S&W than a change over .

Now did you put night sights on it so see could fine you faster in the dark or when you sneak home late ?

SXS,

At my age, my eyes are so bad all I can do now is point and shoot, forget aiming..........

I really like the 4506, the S&W's are cheaper than the HK anyway.

Charlie
You know she is going to be ticked when she finds out it is not a real gun but a KelTec (just kidding Carol). Give her the little Smith instead, she will like it a lot better.

YOU ACTUALLY GOT HER A FIREARM AND AMMO, BEEN NICE KNOWING YOU CHARLIE!
Bout time you got her a new gun, look at how many you have gotten yourself. Now you know I buy mine a new one each time i get a new one.

I did get a new toy today as well, a 1917 S&W 45ACP (military revolver) but some time down through the years someone shortened the barrel down from the 5&1/2" to 3"! They did a very professional job, I was told by a man who knows his gunsmithing today that as good a job as was done, it actually could have been done by request at the Smith & Wesson shop! Will they actually do that if you request it? Any ideas as to a cheap source of the half moon clips or even the full clips that hold 6 rounds? I will post a picture of it in a few days.

Nice little Tactical!!! How does she like that .380 - Mrs. Blue has not shot my little Indian .380 yet, but I did get her an NAA .22 5 shot. She carries that when jogging alone...

Carol do like Carla does me she just takes the one she wants and tells me that "IF YOU WANT ONE LIKE GO BUY YOU ONE" then you could have a bunch that Charlie could barrow.
Charlie I always barrow Carla's so that when I get home it is her guns that need to be cleaned not mine

BlueTic,

My mistake, shoulda identified the Kel Tec when I post the picture, since they all look alike. The Keltec is the model P 11 in 9mm. Sorry.........

She hasn't fired it yet, so I don't know how she's gonna like it, but the price was right, LOL.
