I have been a member of this site since June 2001 when it was on EZBoard. I joined when there were only a couple of hundred members, maybe less. I was very active until the end of 2005 and let life take me in new directions. I was once a TFF moderator and when I saw that I could not be here as much as I should I asked to be removed from that duty. Since then I have read some here and there and posted maybe a dozen times a year.
Anyway, since I don't know the majority of the members here I thought I would introduce myself. I live in NE Alabama in Paint Rock Valley about 7 miles from the TN line. I am 60 years old, married with 2 sons, and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting, reloading, many forms of auto racing and horses. We have 9 horses including mostly gaited saddle horses of different breeds, including TN Walking Horses, Paso Finos, Racking Horses, and 1 lonely Quarter Horse. I am partial to 1911’s, but have a mixture of firearms including revolvers, rifles and shotguns. I enjoy shooting, but have have been a stranger to that lately. I enjoy reloading, but it has quite some time since I actually did it. I have Dillon, RCBS and Lee reloaders. I am 6 months from my planned retirement, but have been eligible for over 5 years.

Glad to have ya here, I noticed you were around the other day. Partial to 1911s makes you alright in my book. I would say the membership numbers have changed just a little.

Welcome 'back'. I would probably start jonesin if I missed two days in a row.
I've had several sites of my own and multiple boards. I wrote HTML for several years to create sites, but eventually wound up with an ezboard. Being able to write HTML was a big asset when I went with ez. 'Standard' isn't always what we wanted. ![]() I've noticed you too. Hang in for awhile. ![]()

near as I can tell you are member #12. at least that's what I get if I put my cursor over your username.
I suspect things have changed quite a bit since 2001. I have only been here a few months but I like it. just watch out for that 76 Highboy. he'll get you in trouble. LOL

68c15, #12 surprises me! I knew it was low but I think a few usernames that were before me have been deleted for various reason. But notice Sam is 13 and I know he was here before me. He must of rebuilt his user profile. Sam, Im trying to make it this year. Only about 2 hour drive. bobski, 2 SSBN's and 1 SSN. All three are probably scrape now along with my old boat USS Ray SSN 653. It was cut up in 2003? These old boats only had about a 25 year service life. I remembered something was different about the Polk. It was converted from SSBN to an SSN for special warfare ops. armedandsafe, rosierita, pickenup - all old timers that I'm glad to hear from. Thanks all for the welcome back Last edited by tuckerd1; 06-27-2012 at 09:27 PM.. |

The only way to get a truly accurate list is to go to "membership" and click on join date to sort the list by that.
