I just received an older Winchester model 70 in 30-06 from my mother in law, could someone tell me when it was made by the serial number? It is 1250xx.
Thanks Barry

If my M-in-L gave me one I'd ask my wife to shoot it first! Congrats, a nice rifle. In the range of $700 to $100 per the Blue Book, but I would not sell it for that. The -06 standard rifle is the most common. Worth keeping! A great rifle.
