Funny looking things...most of them look like they ran out of sheet metal before they got it all put together, all those big gaping holes.

The GT is a newer GT-40 with supercharged modular 5.4L power plant, and I'll bet that the Cobra is a kit car with Mustang drive train. Those kit Cobras are very, very common. A Mustang club I used to belong to had several that would show up at our events. I could be wrong about the Cobra though. There is a Lamborghini in this parking lot after all...

There's some show on HDNet where this guy goes around finding old cars to clean up and sell at auctions... Chasing Cars or something like that. But they had one where they were going out to find these old Cobras. They had one on there that was a '66 Cobra 427 S/C. Then they had another at the Mecum Auto Auction that was the actual Cobra Daytona Coupe that won at Le Mans. Pretty cool. Most Cobras I've seen are all the 289 ones. Never seen one with a 427 around here.

Nah, sorry Marlin T. I meant to take one on the way out, (picture, that is - not car!) but I forgot.
I think it was a kit car because I did not see anything on it that said Shelby or Cobra. I guess if it was the real deal, it would have, (right?). Still, a very sweet looking car!

Here are two of mine I thought I would share. On the Viper I painted the valve covers and brake calipers yellow. To me they looked ugly in red. The 40 Ford has a 4 link rear suspension and a 9" Ford rear end. The suicide doors for those who don't know is not the way it came originally. It will really pin you to the seat yet it is not so radical I could drive it across country.

Don't like the hood on the GT and find the style of the Lamborghini to plain, but I like the Viper.

Them speed holes. They make the car go faster. If you want to go much faster, you add racing stripes.

Any more info on that KW in the background? Who built it? I've been looking into truck conversions lately, of course I don't have the funding now, but I'm being hopeful...lol
