Default Sights

My Eclipse shoots about 3 inches high at 15 yds, and the night sights are very hard for my 57 year young eyes to see in the daylite.
What would be my options on this two fold problem and is it something I can fix myself or would I need to get a smith involved.

I had to change my factory sights out on my SA 1911. I lost the original sights in the black of the bull. Once they replaced them with 3-dots, I could see again !!!!!
