Default N frame 657 question

I can use .44 speed loaders for my .41 right?
both are for a S&W N frame

HKS (found using google search) lists a 29M for the 44 and 57M for the 41. Each N frame had its own loader number. Try it and find out!

The rim size on the .44 is larger than the 41 (duh) so I doubt that the loader would hold the rounds securly. It might have enough slop in the fit to work, but I doubt it. HKS makes a loader for the 41 so just use those to be sure.

I can't find them anywhere
and a gun smith thought that they might fit in the .44 ones.

Speed loaders are fussy little critters, at best. Find the one designed for your piece, then experiment with others of close shape. You might find one which actually works better in the dark.

Experience speaks, and it is worth about the same as the paper it is printed upon. I found that the Bianchi speed strips actually worked better when the adrenaline was pumping like a firehose. Slower, but more reliable.

nuts only model 547 not 657
oh well I think when I pull out ye old magnum, if I ever have to people will **** thier pants, when they see its shiney stainless head rearing. and I can acutally unload and load it with loose shells really quickly.
