how can you sell a handgun if only 3 of the six serial #s are readable. Its on the 1904 Colt A&R commercial.

Are you selling this as a FFL dealer or a private individual?

In most states a person can sell his neighbor or anyone else any gun without any restrictions.

The gun in question is a 1904 Colt A&N Commercial. I can only read 4 othe 6 numbers on the butt ,the rest are worn off. I talked to an auction house and he will try to sell it to a privet dealer.
