My wife has to put our tree up the friday after Thanksgiveing,that means I put up the outdoor lights that Friday and Saturday.This yr she took the tree down 2 days after Christmas.I enjoy the lights but I think my wife gets carried away a bit.Our house looks like the Griswolds.

We did better than last year. Took it down on New Years day. Last year it was up till Easter!

I was glad my neighbor was removing his decorations in a timely manner this year...Untill I noticed that he was pileing it all up in his back yard.

I took mine down on the 7th. I always leave it up thru the 12 days of Christmas. I like to have a 12th night dinner with friends..... now I am wondering how many realize that the 12th day of Christmas is January 6th....hmmmmmm

Yep! both are still up and they will stay that way until the wife takes them down

Usually take it down every new years day. Slowly, while watching football. Usually moving a little slow that day.

I finally took it out back today during lunch.. We're getting cable for the first time in ~4 years today and my wife was embarrassed at the thought of the cable guy seeing our tree falling apart in the corner. The house smells a bit better now too..

Nope, it's still up! Artificial tree with no smell or loss of needles. Njretcop unplugged the outdoor lights today. Maybe next weekend I'll start taking things down.

The warden ordered it taken down and the decorations put away in the attic on Jan 3 - Whilst she was at work.
