Default One For Jim Hauff

Just picked this up at the show this weekend. H&R Auto-Ejecting 3rd Model, all standard, but in truly exceptional condition. .38 SW x 5 shots. SN under top strap 257987.

I make this as 1910.

Stone,
1910 seems reasonable for that piece. The serial number falls into a hole in my collection - does it have a two date top rib stamp? (Aug. 6th 89 Oct. 8, 95). Or no patent dates, simply the manufacturer and address with MASS. (no spelled out). First is a 2nd Variation 1909-12, latter is a 3rd Variation (1913=15). The variations are often identical physically and can only be told by barrel stamping.

You're welcome. It looks to be in pretty darn good shape.
