Almost seems like it'd be easier to just move to a "free state".

The buzz is very quiet, but there's a movement to get DC changed to a state. True.

Their not liberals. They just call themselves that. A true liberal believes in choice do they not? Buying a gun is a choice and thus as a liberal i support it. I chose to buy a wasr 10/63. I advise ignoring their pathetic rule of law and exercising true personal freedom. Choice=Liberty.

Yes thier gun laws are working. Reports indicate that most if not all homicides in the D.C. area are commited with plastic forks.

I have no idea why any free-thinking citizen would continue to live in the nest of vipers, thieves and pirates called the District of Columbia. Move to a Free State, and leave that foul snakenest to the Goobermint! They deserve it.

How ironic. The home base of the seat of power of the strongest and freest collection of individual states on the planet. The bastion of elected officials sworn to uphold the Constitution, the rules that make it all possible. The territory that holds Americas buildings, dedicated to the people and the glory of God. And Washington D.C. is not a state, it's elected officials ignore the Constitution and take every opportunity to remove God by reason of political correctness. They should be ashamed to call themselves Americans!

"If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the

Iraq theater of operations during the past 22 months and a total of 2112

deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.

...

The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per 100,000 people for the same

period.

That means you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S.

capital, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the U.S., than

you are in Iraq.

Conclusion; The US should withdraw from DC"

Why hasn't the Supreme Court or ANY court declared things like this a violation of someone's Due Process? They're impeding people from exercising their Constitutional rights.

I think the law should be changed at the Federal level making it where there needs to be NO registration, NO training - all you have to do is pass a background check - no waiting period, and you can buy as many guns as you want. Criminals don't listen to the law. All these impediments do is make it harder for honest people to protect themselves. And there should be a Federal law requiring NO permit to carry.

I'd pass it if I was Prez. If Congress wouldn't sign it, I'd push it through with an executive order.

Yeah...the lib-socialists been running this flag up the red pole for awhile to see if there is anyway they can get 2 more liberal-assed senators and some more liberal-assed reps on their side of the aisle....Scary!!!

They know the only way that they can have their "New World Order" is by disarming the American Patriots..Thank God for the 2nd Amendment and the foresight of our founders who were well aware of the political big corrupt government and subsequent loss of freedom that is always an end product.....Its OUR freedom and OUR right to protect ourselves from them and anyone else who tries to destroy the constitution of our county...Thats WHY they put it there in the first place...got nothing to do with hunting or target shooting....

Well done!! At last!!

She had to jump through almost as many hoops as I did to get my Fire Arms Certificate here in the UK. At least she could get a hand gun. Anything like she has is totally illegal for civilians to own, except in very exceptional circumstances.

It seems to me that the 2nd Amendment is one of the most liberal ideas in our constitution. In most of the world, only the powerful have a right to own weapons. The common citizen/subject can only have weapons as a privilage granted or revoked by those with power.

The Supremes sold us out last time, and they do it all the time. They have NO cajones where it concerns the 2nd. Their ruling needs to OVERTURN ALL federal and state infringements on firearms, PERIOD.

Emily is lovely and she likes guns. Not a bad combination for you young single guys. Of course, she might be able to out write and out shoot alot of fellas. This would be ok with a secure man but unbearable to others.
