Default "sporterized" mauser

Hello all. I'm new to this and typing. hope you all can help.
I have a Spanish 1953 LaCoruna 7.92 mm 8mm mauser that has been "sporterized" and was wondering if there was a website i could go to that sells stocks and hardware to make it more origanal. Also i need a website or a place in North Carolina, around Burlington, to buy ammo. thanks for the time. If i knew more about how i would post pics.

Welcom to the forum Cutis R! Congrats with your Mauser and you bring up some great questions that I cant answer right away, as I just accuired a sporterized one chambered in .30-o6. To post a few pics, on top, click on the attachment (paperclip button) and try that....I'd like to have a look at yours!
Ive posted a few pics of mine in this same forum/topic.

I hope you have better luck restoring yours than I did mine. It all depends on how much it has been butchered. You definitely need to post a bunch of detailed pictures because if yours was as cut up as mine than you'd be better off just getting another rifle that is unmolested.

as soon as i can get the pics i'll post them. seem to be lucky in as that the barrel hasnt been cut down. it is still chambered for 7.92. for me thats a plus but the cost of the ammo is outragous.

Welcome Curt. I have several old Turkish Mausers. One I have semi sporterized( scope synthetic stock a few little improvements ) just can't force myself to cut down the barrel (yet).

Curtis, military surplus can be had as cheap as 0.19 cents a round.

No real collector value in restoring it, but if that's what you want to have, search the auction and use "M-43 Spanish Mauser" for search terms.

Curtis, in the Quick Reply box click on "Go Advanced", then click the icon that looks like a "paper clip", then click "Browse" which should take you to your pictures on your computer, click the picture you want, click "Open", then click "Upload" and that should work. You can load four different pictures. Hope this helps.

This assumes you have the pictures already loaded in your computer.
