Default Walking Dead

Walking Dead comes back on Tommorrow at 9 pm.on amc.Does anyone watch? I think this is the best Zombie series ever,Does make you think alot. The closest we ever came to zombie is when they had the black plague in europe when it killed a 1/3rd of there population and that was only cause of how the plague made you look. They were definitely not flesh eaters and such. The movie does a good job at showing us what we can expect if our iinfrustructure goes to pot.Intrested to see if there are any fans out there.

I love this show, but no longer get A&E so i'm waiting for the DVD's to come out. It's based off a comic book series, I saw the complete bound set on Amazon a while back, but have yet to pick it up. If you haven't started Adrians Undead Diary yet, google it.

I will be watching it...........it is kind of close to the comics so far (except Carl killed Shane very early in the comic...because he was going to hurt Rick). There are also a couple of characters from the comics that are tough as heck, I hope they add them to the TV series.

Adrian's Undead Diary is a great read too.

It's a great series but one thing that bugs me is the shortage of guns the characters have. I realize that it's a TV show but this is America and they are in Georgia. Kick in the doors of 10 homes across the South and you'll probably find guns in 7 of them. Of course people would have been using them during the breakdown but it's still odd that more firearms aren't available and there aren't more military weapons lying around in the series. If nothing else you would think there would be a lot of zombies shuffling around with their weapons still on them.

I spent the evening watching the marathon and am waiting for the new one tonight. Really good show.

Read Adrians Undead Diary. It's a great read and really got me hooked. I just wish he'd write faster.

I also take exception with that - Not to mention the numer of checkpoints and abandoned military vehicles they've passed. Sneaking into the middle of downtown Zombieville to find a dropped bag with a couple of shotguns? Right next to that tank?

And I sure wouldn't be toolin' around in a worn-out RV that breaks down regularly, when the world is a giant car lot.

Great show. I guess if you look beyond the obvious points mentioned above, what makes the show great is the over-all theme, WTF would we do if the end of civilization should happen? Does make you think!

yeah if it was me I would be hitting one of the big box stores especially the food and sporting goods side and then the LGS's and a couple food storage warehouses I'd be driving a 18 wheeler with a big sleeper and a 53 ft box trailer full of guns ammo and food, and a battery powered pump I'd have one of the others drive a 18 wheeler full of diesel fuel and when we got low theres millions of fuel stations just fire the pump up and refill everyone, make my way out to montana or some less populated region and wait it out, surely the zombies would starve after a few years

Saw the show a couple times, they seem to try to drag out the emotional side too much for me. If I really want to watch zombies I go to the local government office and watch the employees or turn on Cspan and watch senate hearings. now that's scary!

I love it!

the zombies in the show don't have to eat, they just do it because the virus keeps them animated but their undead brains are only able to follow the most basic human instinct: eat.

The first show of the season was very good. I also watched the marathon from last season. The scene where they kill all the "walkers" coming out of the barn and then the little girl coming out is very riveting.

The "Dale" character is just a liberal idiot and I'm going to be very happy if they kill him off.
