Well son, you have a boy zombie and a girl zombie. They get together and eat the face off a living person and in a little while, that person who was living becomes a zombie.

The walking dead is one of my favorite shows. I work on Sunday nights so I don't get to watch it on TV. I download it on Monday and watch it on my computer.

YES, but he's a GREAT bad guy. Great bad guys are what you need to help drive plot.

Sure don't understand why the brunette wife (Lori?) felt it necessary to follow her husband to town. He went to get the doc, and knew that other girl was in a coma - so why did she take off and follow him? To tell him to hurry up? Now she's crashed on the side of the road, waiting to get munched. And I bet she loses that baby, which gives them one less reason to stay at Herschel's Funhouse and Zombie Zoo.

Kudos to them for bringing in a gang of bad guys/slave traders/etc. Looking forward to that particular development...

Yeah, How about that final scene with the quick shoot out in the bar. Very nice! And it totally left you hanging with the wife in the car at the side of the road - and nothing in the promo for next week on that either. (that comic book men show is just stupid.)

If any of you guys need motivation to lose weight, then Shane smoking Otis is about as good as it gets. Just like the old joke about two guys getting chased by a bear, "I don't have to outrun the bear, I just have to outrun you!"

We should have a pool on whether the one-handed redneck brother and/or the black guy from the first episode will show up. Maybe they'll crop up and rescue the guys in the bar.

And has anyone figured out the family dynamic at that farmhouse? There are at least three characters, including coma girl, who never say anything. With Herschel and his hot daughter, that's five people in the house (since Otis got smoked). Have you seen the SIZE of that house? Why is everyone else sleeping in the yard?

I like this show but for the life of me can not figure out why they are still driving a trashed out RV? All the millitary equipment just laying around and they don't stop and pick up one thing? I would be rolling in a a couple haummers with a supply truck in between them. Scavaging everything I saw laying around. ammo, guns, fuel, gernades. I guess it doesn't make for much of a story.
I like Shane, he adds a dynamic no one else does. I wish Dale would getted offed though. There is no room for cry babies in a zombie apocolipse.

Lori too. If she was not around Shane and Rick woudl be just fine togther.

Great shoot out at the end.

Naw, if I was them, I'd rather be with Lori.

Toss in Andrea, Maggie, and coma-girl Patricia (I just looked up the cast), and there's a mighty nice ratio of attractive women who will go a-marchin' into the zombie apocalypse.

You guys can say what you like but I'm gonna keep hating Shane.

1- leaves his partner for dead

2- has no problem bedding down his presumably dead partners wife (she ain't no better)

3- shoots Otis to save his own arse

I think I'd want Daryl having my back. That boy's tough. And a helluva shot with that crossbow.

I wouldn't mind seeing her get eaten by the "walkers", she is obviously a liberal. She doesn't want her son to learn how to handle a gun, in a world that is full of zombies. Shes's an idiot and deserves to be munched by the "walkers".

You got that right. There's a movie called Zombieland and rule #1 in Zombieland was "Cardio". You need to be able to outrun them. Zombieland is a great movie for anyone who hasn't seen it.

No one had reacted until it was too late. I loved that!

That is probably why Shane feels the need to back-shoot Rick; he knows how good Rick is.

I just started watching this series over Netflix yesterday. It's OK, so far. But, I think I could take it or leave it. I'm up to episode 5 of season 1, I think.

I enjoy it, personally think Hell on Wheels is a better show. I prefer the story and acting, don't get me wrong, Walking Dead is awesome. Sometimes that loud-whispering-trying-to-be-super-intense voice that many actors utilize, including the main char in the show, drive me bonkers.

Besides, how long have we all been waiting for a Confederate Soldier to be the good guy on TV?

I like the show, and am completely up to date on both seasons. I look forward to it coming on each week, and I look forward to Hell on Wheels, as well. Both are pretty good shows. I also keep wondering, however, why so much military material and ordinance is left behind. There was a loaded MaDeuce a couple yards from the tank, and no one bothered to gather it up. So far, the only gun "pick up" Ive seen is Rick taking the one from the zombie/tanker in the tank. As far as Sean; I dont trust the guy one bit, and expect him to get "stranger and stranger" as time goes by. The "Unforgiven" seen in the bar, with Rick, was excellent; I think we are starting to see a side of him, instinctive side, that may prove to be beneficial as the show continues. As far as Lori, Ricks wife, the decision to go to town WAS a stupid one, and I also cant wait to see what happens when the "Boys from Philly" come into the bar to figure out where their two friends got to. Should prove VERY interesting.

Well, I'm with ya on that one, so no bet. I think Morgan (that's his name, just looked it up) (remember that same actor in Jericho?) heard Rick on the walkie, skirted Atlanta, took the same freeway as the group, and saw the signs left at the traffic jam for Sophia. And I think he's about to show up and help 'em out of the pickle they're in inside that bar. (A) It would be a good story, and (B) at this juncture we only have one black survivor, after that other gal self-destructed at the CDC. Maybe he'll roll up in an APC, having spent the last few weeks picking up all the milspec guns and ammo that was laying around.

I love the show so far but it's so unrealistic. How in the world do zombies get to guys in the tanks? When your locked in that sucker fighting there's no way in from the outside. And at the CDC when they walk past the sandbangs with a .50 cal with a belt of ammo just sitting on it?

Here's some food for thought...... When Rick was in the hospital and Shane went to get him (but chose to block the door with a gurney instead and leave him), he witnessed soldiers gunning down living people. What makes him think that they'll get a warm friendly welcome at Benning?

We muted that comic book show, and hung in there until they showed the preview for next week several minutes later.

The Boys From Philly have several friends outside, and a shootout ensues.

That tanker must've got bit outside, then crawled into the tank whilst awaiting zombification. Presumably the only way to become a walker is to get nipped and get away, like the tanker and Andrea's sister and that dude Jim they left under a tree; others get mobbed and consumed (like Walker Bait Otis, we presume), and we've seen other walkers chowing down on the less fortunate.

So you see, it's actually quite realistic.
