Default Arisaka Value

I have had, since 1973, an Arisaka Type 99 "Bring Back" in 7.7mm, given to me by my father. All numbers match, bore is excellent, has 1500m graduated sight w/ both anti-aircraft wings, and mum is perfect. It fires, and is, I might add, dead on accurate. The rifle is solid and tight, as opposed to the rickety looseness in the mechanisms that I've seen in others. Only missing dust guard. Rifle is a 9.8 out of 10. I have 14 recent pics if anyone wants to see. How much is this rifle worth, and where is the best venue to find a serious buyer? Many thanks for your help.

If the condition is nice, $350 is a ball park value.

Good pictures would help in evaluation.

$350 is about right, add another $150-200 if it has an original sling, another $150-200 if it has the original monopod, and another $100 if is has a bayonet.

Need more information. Cleaning rod? What arsenal? Series? If a common series but missing monopod, dust cover and cleaning rod 275.00 to 300.00. Also the mum cannot have any marks at all on it to be a gun with a mum.

For what it's worth--saw a Type 38 this weekend, intact mum, but dented up handguard, no cleaning rod, dust cover or monopod--asking price was $175. Another type 38, all matching, intact mum but no monopod for $600. A Type 99, no monopod or dust cover w/ground mum, $300. A "walker" was carring around a type 99, decent shape, matching numbers except for dust cover and complete with monopod and bayonet with sheath--he want $450 for it.
