You know as well as I do he will not get a jury trial. He will be charged, spend big $$ to get a POS attorney that pleads his case down to a lesser charge. He will lose his guns, he will be branded a menace to society and he will never has his day ion court where people like you will be able to make it right.

tried the link it did not do anything for me. Keep us posted. I am in just let me know where to send a letter.

I read what the guy said. He was sceared he was not going to be able to contol the perp. Sounds good enough to me. Cant argue with that. He said he was sceared the guy would come after him. Self defense. If he cant count on us who can he count on.

His actions were brought on by the actions of another.

Read the article and sign the petition.

This stinks! This is a crime against Mr Sarti's Free Speech and Right To Bear Arms.

That's something I would expect from some liberal areas down in England, where children who have been bullied for years are arrested for assault when they finally stand up for themselves.

A MESSAGE TO ALL VICTIMS AND WITNESSES
OF CRIME IN STRAFFORD COUNTY

The needs and concerns of crime victims deserve special attention. Victims often experience emotional distress as a result of crime, fear, anger, depression and guilt are not uncommon reactions. Witnesses also often feel fear, confusion and anxiety about what they have seen; and what will be required of them by the criminal justice system. In order to help you or your family cope with your exposure to crime, my office has established a Victim\Witness Assistance Program.

If you are a victim of a crime, we want to be sure that you are not revictimized by the system. If you are a witness to a crime we want you to feel proud to have performed your civic duty and not feel as though you have wasted your time. We want to insure that both victims and witnesses are kept informed about the progress of the case in which they are involved.

The criminal justice system depends upon the cooperation and assistance of victims and witnesses. We want you to know that your efforts are greatly appreciated. O behalf of the Office of the Strafford County Attorney, I want to thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Tom Velardi

Donno if it will happen, probably not, but he's facing 6 years if he gets convicted. Even at that, if he has no record, good citizen and all that stuff, he's looking at a fine and probation. Can't own any weapons, or live in a house with weapons.

If he has a CCW, it's gone, if he doesn't and wants one, he's out of luck.

So basically Mr Sarti doesnt trust the govt, so they declare him mentally incompetant and the govt seives his guns this will make him trust his govt , how??

I have watched these shows too and they do try to find the people that are "charecters" I guess that shows the true motive of the show itself.

There is nothing wrong with prepping for hard times and if someone wants to build a bomb shelter or live in an underground vault on their property, far be it from mwe to stop them.
Life favors the prepared and it does not take much to create chaos. Disruption in oil flow, food shotage from a drought etc whatever.
I agree his rights were violated in many ways, sad to see these things going on. He and others need support.
