The laws are different in every state. In NY you can only have 10 round mags.
So you need to check with your states laws.Call your local sheriffs dept they will tell you all you need to know. Mike |

Too many to name, some states outright ban them, not sure about Indiana but I don't believe they have a ban. Maybe this link will help you out: http://www.ak-47.us/ak47_laws/Gun_Laws.php

Not in Indiana there isn't. 30 round mags, folding stocks, etc. All legal in Indiana.

Waitaminnit...do you mean the actual select fire AK-47 assault rifle, or one of the many AKM style semi-auto only clones?
If you want the full auto AK, be prepared to spend BIG bucks, as they are expensive and hard to find. If Indiana allows full auto/NFA, start saving your pennies now. If Indiana doesn't have what's classically termed an AWB, semi-auto military style rifle ban, then chances are you can have a semi auto only clone of the AKM, the stamped steel receiver version of the classic AK pattern rifle. If you have an AWB, then you are going to either move or find something close that isn't listed in your AWB, like people in Connecticut buy vz-58s rifles as they aren't listed in their ban. Check your state and local laws, if Indiana doesn't have a state firearms pre-emption law, and go from there. And to answer your question from my locale, no, Arizona doesn't ban either Ak-47s or semi-auto AKM clones, nor does Arizona restrict magazine size. There are some laws about safe target shooting, but they are pretty good. |

only target restriction I know of is the use of 2 legged moving targets...unless they happen to be threating you..then its ok..just be sure to kill it!

Nice Ryan!
Here, there isnt any restrictions as far as I'm aware of...Ive got several mags of various sizes with the AR. No target restrictions either, less it be 2 legged or 4 legged bigger critters. State laws vary though as said above.

Only " restrictions " I know of in Florida is, there's no ranges that will allow anyone to use a rifle ( in my city ). They're all indoor because the whole state is flat. Very restrictive about what you can hunt with here.
