Don't let him fool you.

I am about 99.9% sure I am still going to support Ron Paul. I know he isn't very popular here, but I'm a man of principle. I would rather vote for the right candidate than the lesser of two evils, even if he doesn't win.

http://www.nationalgunrights.org/ric...i-gun-history/
I did that in 1996.
I could NOT vote for Clinton, and Bob Dole did not show me anything, so I voted for a candidate I could be PROUD of voting for; Libertarian Harry Browne.

As a result of the conservative vote being fractured, Clinton won another four years while getting less than 50% of the votes.

In the United States at this particular point in history, NO ONE can win the presidential election who is not either a GOP or DEM.

We have so MANY people who ONLY vote straight party that no third party has any chance - at least not yet.

WHOEVER the GOP nominates, we have to ALL get behind them if we are to get rid of the clown currently occupying the White House.
Currently, I hope that is Rick Santorum.
But I will vote GOP even if they run Homer Simpson.

Rick Santorum is a real conservative and I like his values and so far I have not found any "Rhino" in this guy.

So far, he has my vote.

Jim
So far, he's the only one that isnt afraidto say whats on his mind!!!
When an issue is talked about or asked about he pretty much says what's
on his mind and aint afraid to say it.
Just like talking against our "soon to be" former president come January.
He's a stand up kind of guy and compared so far to the others...
I think so far, He'll have me watching close!!!!

I think having NOBODY in office would be better than what we have now. Just an empty office.

Should be RINO (Republican in Name Only).

And BTW, the quote about Liberty and safety is wrongly attributed, "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety" - Benjamin Franklin

Ayatollah Santorum will NEVER get my vote.

How Santorum Fails Constitution 101

He rarely speaks without advocating a federal ban on something he dislikes. He wants to impose his religious and personal views on everyone else. He hates the idea of liberty!

In case you can't watch the video, here is the key quote: "Freedom is not absolute... What rights in the Constitution are absolute? There is no right to absolute freedom."

How did we get from Rick Santorum being "soft on the second amentment" to "Anti-Gun" in 3 posts?

He looks to be our best choice and I'm as Pro-Gun as posible.

I'd like to see MadMothers Source... How about posting it Mom?

Now that is a brilliant summation. If you are going to start attacking people its not going to work. Because someone is from the north makes him inferior to you? I am born and raised in the south and I dont believe that for one second.

As a senator he was considered an average Republican. His votes changed from year to year depending on whether it's an election year he is a relative conservative on taxes." He is not a die-hard fiscal conservative but a follower of political expediency when it comes to economic issues. In spite of warnings by conservatives he backed the 2003 Medicare prescription drug program, which is expected to cost about $68 billion this year. Now he admits his Medicare vote was a mistake, because the program wasn't paid for.

He voted for the 2005 highway bill - a $284 billion measure loaded with earmarks, including the Alaska "Bridge to Nowhere" again ignoring conservative critics of the bill. He has always been a consistent supporter of earmarks, he was rewarded with $1 billion in projects. He is not a huge money grabber from earmarks like some legislators but he does play that game. For a fiscal conservative he still finds himself voting every time to raise the federal debt ceiling.

Does anybody here really believe he is going to make a concerted effort to hold down spending and balance the budget. Oh wait a minute, that would be the crazy man nobody likes because he has a squeaky voice and they think they know what his foreign policy is based on biased commentary by his opponents.

Some of my favorites from Santorum, he voted NO on banning lawsuits against gun manufacturers for gun violence and he voted yes in support of requiring trigger locks on handguns. He may be A rated by the NRA but he is still a compromiser.

No fan here in case you missed it.

No offense but Obozo and his competition aint worth two cents in my opinion and from what I seen I dont think none of them like guns. Bush liked guns but he wasnt a good president either.
