Hello everyone, I had a quick question regarding to my grampas 1887 lever action shotgun. Well this shotgun has been in the family since it was new. But unfortunately the barrel has been sawn off about 3 inches from the foregrip. My great grandfather bent the barrel on it way back in the 50's. So I'm trying to gather some info on where I could find a barrel for it. Its is chambered for 12ga shells, 2 3/4 only i think. I understand they made them in 10 ga too. But if anyone has a barrel for one of these or knows the where abouts of one and is willing to part with it, I'd appeciate it. Thanks for reading. - Brad

You might try Coyote Cap.
http://www.coyotecap.com/index.html Cap was the guy that got the Chinese 87's being made and imported. It's possible that a Chinese 87 barrel can be put on your gun. I don't know, but he would. I know it will be next to impossible finding an original, beings as how they haven't been made for a hundred years.

Hey thanks Alpo! I will send him an email. I would say this is my only chance. Wichester only made like 50 thousand of them from 1887 to 1901. So they are pretty rare. Thanks again, - Brad
